Car Catches Fire after Crashing into RV on Highway 237 in Sunnyvale Killing the Driver

 
SUNNYVALE, CA (February 19, 2024) – One person was killed in a fiery car accident on Highway 237 in Sunnyvale early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on February 18. According to the California Highway Patrol, an unknown car was traveling westbound when it crashed into a recreational vehicle. It then struck a tree on the shoulder of the highway and caught fire.
 
As a result, the driver of the car died at the scene. They were not yet identified.
 
It was unclear what exactly led to the crash, but an investigation is underway.
