Two-Vehicle Accident in Madera County Snarls Traffic

 
MADERA COUNTY, CA (November 9, 2022) — A head-on collision on Highway 41 left one person injured in Madera County on Friday before noon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place between Jewels Vista Drive and Highway 145. At about 11:45 a.m., a Toyota Prius and another unidentified vehicle collided in the said area.
 
The driver of the Prius suffered major injuries, CHP reported. However, there were no updates available as to the identity and current condition of the patient.
 
Meanwhile, the damaged vehicles left Highway 41 blocked in the area near Jewels Vista Drive and Highway 145. All lanes reopened following the investigation and emergency response at the scene.
 
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
