Three Vehicles Collide at South McKinley and Slauson Avenues Sending One Person to Hospital

 
SOUTH PARK, CA (May 17, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle accident at South McKinley Avenue and Slauson Avenue in South Park early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 2:25 a.m. on May 14. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, three vehicles collided at the intersection, at least one of them also struck a fire hydrant.
 
Firefighters said one person was temporarily trapped in one of the vehicles. They transported that person to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
A child, whose age was not disclosed, also suffered minor injuries, according to the fire department.
 
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
