Fiery Rollover Crash on Highway 52 in Tierrasanta Sends One Person to Hospital

 
TIERRASANTA, CA (February 23, 2024) – One person was hospitalized in a fiery rollover accident on Highway 52 in Tierrasanta Tuesday afternoon on February 20.
 
The accident happened around 4:25 p.m. near Santo Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least two vehicles collided along the westbound lanes of the highway. The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over and catch fire.
 
Responding firefighters took one person to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
Crews then extinguished the car fire.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
