SACRAMENTO, CA (July 4, 2022) – Paramedics sent one person to the hospital following a car crash at the Sacramento Hindu Temple on La Mancha Way on July 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Creek Centre Court around 11:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, a car crashed into the building. Subsequently, crews with the Sacramento Fire Department said that the car driver tried to run from the scene.
 
As a result, one person was hurt from falling debris. Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Also, the building suffered major damage in the incident.
 
In addition, officers with the Sacramento Police Department arrested the driver of the car on suspicion of felony hit and run. As of now, an investigation is ongoing.
