Early Morning Hit-and-Run Crash on Piedmont Avenue in San Jose Leaves 1 in Critical Condition

 
SAN JOSE, CA (April 25, 2023) – One person was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash at Piedmont Avenue and Berryessa Road in San Jose early Sunday morning.
 
The crash happened just after 12:00 a.m. on April 23. According to the San Jose Police Department, multiple vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics arrived and transported one person to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
Police said at least one of the drivers involved fled the scene after the crash.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing and police are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
