Two Vehicles Collide on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County Sending 2 People to Hospital

 
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (April 25, 2023) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County Saturday evening on April 22.
 
The accident happened just after 8:00 p.m. along the northbound highway at El Capitan Ranch Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, a pickup truck and a Subaru collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused the pickup to roll over.
 
The driver of the truck was able to safely get out of the vehicle, while the Subaru motorist had to be assisted by first responders.
 
Paramedics transported both drivers to Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
