OCEANSIDE, CA (February 28, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a DUI crash on Highway 76 in Oceanside Monday night on February 20.
 
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at Benet Road. According to the Oceanside Police Department, the motorcyclist was riding eastbound on the highway when a drunk driver hit them.
 
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a trauma center.
 
Police arrested the involved driver at the scene on suspicion of DUI.
