SAN DIEGO, CA (February 28, 2023) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Midway Drive and Barnett Avenue.
 
According to the San Diego Police traffic division, the fatal motorcycle accident happened around 9:43 p.m. Saturday. For possible speed-related reasons, a 22-year-old riding a 2020 Triumph motorcycle eastbound on Midway Drive struck a curb. As a result of the impact, the man crashed into a jersey wall at the intersection and suffered major injuries.
 
Soon after, San Diego Police traffic officers arrived at the scene, but the motorcyclist passed away.
