VICTORVILLE, CA (April 7, 2022) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries after a traffic accident on La Mesa Road in Victorville on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 2:53 p.m. on April 5 just west of Mesa Linda Avenue. Based on preliminary reports, the motorcyclist rear-ended a black Acura SUV.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered unspecified injuries. Fire crews requested an air ambulance to transport the patient to a trauma center.
 
Victorville City Public Works employees responded to the scene and set up a hard road closure along La Mesa Road as deputies investigate the accident.
 
At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
