TEMECULA, CA (August 11, 2022) – A 33-year-old Temecula man sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 79 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on August 9 at about 2:45 p.m. Witnesses claim that the rider attempted to pass a slower-moving vehicle and crossed a double yellow line.

Then, the motorcycle failed to stop at the stop sign and T-boned a Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of Highway 371 and Highway 79.

The impact of the collision ejected the rider from his motorcycle.

A medical helicopter transported the rider to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment of major injuries.
