Mary Alice Brown Arrested after Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on North H Street near 99 Cents Only Store in Lompoc

 
LOMPOC, CA (August 11, 2022) – Authorities arrested 67-year-old Mary Alice Brown of Lompoc following a hit-and-run on North H Street on Monday evening.
 
According to the Lompoc Police Department, the incident happened on August 8 at about 7:00 p.m. The vehicle reportedly hit a 51-year-old woman in the 99 Cents Only Store parking lot.
 
A Calstar medical helicopter transported the victim to Santa Barbara County Hospital for treatment of serious injuries to her legs and chest. As per reports, the victim remains in critical but stable condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle left the area and did not render aid to the victim.
 
Authorities were able to locate the suspect the next day and arrested Brown on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
