Authorities Identify Fatal Victim of Head-On Crash on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (December 20, 2022) – Moises Soto was killed in a head-on accident in Lucerne Valley on December 4.
 
The accident happened around 11:22 a.m. on Highway 247 near Granite Road. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the accident involved a silver vehicle and a red vehicle. One of them appeared to have crossed the centerline of the roadway, causing a head-on collision.
 
Both vehicles were reported to be unrecognizable.
 
Soto, a 26-year-old Anaheim resident, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was one of the drivers.
 
Mercy Air took the other driver to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
 
The California Highway Patrol Victorville Office is handling the investigation.
