Ming Lee Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Friant Road near Merrill Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 8, 2021) — Ming Lee died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Friant Road near Merrill Avenue Saturday morning.
 
According to spokesman Mike Salas, officers responded to a call about a pedestrian accident. Upon arriving at the scene, police found a 38-year-old man with fatal injuries.
 
Based on the evidence, police believe the driver veered from the traveling lane to the shoulder and struck Ming Lee for unknown reasons.
 
Evidence revealed that Lee, from Fresno, was walking along the shoulder of northbound Friant Road at the time.
 
Following the crash, the driver left the scene, failing to render any type of assistance.
