Mason Penticoff Killed in Motorcycle Crash with Minivan on Jefferson Avenue near Guava Street

 
MURRIETA, CA (October 24, 2022) — Mason Penticoff died in a motorcycle accident with a minivan on Jefferson Avenue near Guava Street Thursday morning.
 
According to Murrieta police officers, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 6:10 am. Under unclear circumstances, a Toyota minivan driver pulled out of a driveway onto Jefferson Avenue when 23-year-old Penticoff was heading southbound in the No. 1 lane. As a result, the Murrieta man was unable to stop his motorcycle in time and crashed into the driver’s side of the vehicle.
 
Due to the impact, Penticoff flew off his bike and landed in the street where he sustained catastrophic injuries. Due to his major injuries, Penticoff died moments later.
 
Following the accident, paramedics brought the minivan driver, who pulled over after the accident, to a trauma center for treatment of major injuries.
 
At this time, authorities plan to look into this crash more closely to identify the liabilities. If anyone has seen this crash, please contact the Murrieta police.
