27-Year-Old Mariana Ramirez Faces Felony DUI Charges after 6-Vehicle Crash in Clovis

 
CLOVIS, CA (May 12, 2021) – Police arrested Mariana Ramirez for DUI after six cars crashed Saturday afternoon, May 8.
 
Around 2:00 p.m., the Clovis Fire Department responded to the crash at the intersection of Shaw Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue. Upon arrival, they found several damaged cars and parts of the vehicles scattered across the intersection.
 
Paramedics treated several people with unspecified injuries. They took one patient to a hospital for further treatment.
 
Subsequently, police arrested the 27-year-old Fresno woman on felony DUI charges.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
