Rider Marco Harris Dies after Crash with Passenger Vehicle near West El Camino Avenue and Erin Drive

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 12, 2021) – Marco Joseph Harris died in a motorcycle accident in Sacramento Monday afternoon, July 5.
 
The accident happened just after 3:10 p.m. near West El Camino Avenue and Erin Drive. Sacramento police said the 25-year-old victim was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a passenger vehicle for unknown reasons. The impact caused Harris serious injuries.
 
Paramedics took Harris to a hospital where he later died, according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
 
Traffic detectives closed West El Camino Avenue in both directions between Thelma Avenue and Reiner Way until just after 8:00 p.m. while they investigated the crash.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol was a factor.
