Manuel Molina Dies, Vincent Nelson Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Clarkson Avenue at Bethel Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (June 24, 2022) — Manuel Molina died in a two-car accident on Clarkson Avenue at Bethel Avenue on Thursday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 11:10 a.m. For unknown reasons, 50-year-old Molina failed to stop at the stop sign on Bethel Avenue at Clarkson Avenue.
 
Subsequently, his southbound Ford Fusion crossed the intersection and crashed into an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 34-year-old Vincent Nelson.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and rushed Molina to Selma Hospital where he died moments later. As for Nelson, he received care for his minor wounds.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. However, police have ruled out impairment as a possible source. If anyone has more information on this crash, please call the CHP.
