BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 21, 2023) — A man in a wheelchair was hit and injured by a car at 21st Street and Chester Avenue Monday night.
 
According to the Bakersfield Fire Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a man riding a wheelchair near the intersection.
 
As a result, the man hit by a car suffered unknown injuries. At the time of the report, Bakersfield Police provided no information on the cause of the crash. Those with additional information on the accident can call the Police.
