Pedestrian Critically Injured in Accident on Highway 94 near 25th Street in Golden Hill

 
GOLDEN HILL, CA (September 22, 2022) – A man sustained serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Highway 94 on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on September 21 at about 11:15 a.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a Ford sedan hit a pedestrian near 25th Street.
 
Emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities did not release the name and age of the victim.
 
Meanwhile, the 73-year-old Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. As per reports, she did not sustain injuries in the collision.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
