1 Person Dies in Motorcycle and RV Accident on Highway 1 near Gorda [Monterey, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle and RV Crash on Highway 1 in Monterey

 
MONTEREY, CA (September 22, 2022) — One person died in a motorcycle and RV accident on Highway 1 near Gorda on Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a motorhome and a motorcycle crashed on Highway 1, south of Gorda.
 
As a result, one person died at the scene. Authorities responded soon after the crash occurred and conducted one-way traffic control. As of midnight, responders were still on the scene.
 
Reports haven’t indicated the leading cause of the accident or those injured. However, if anyone has more to add to this news, please contact the CHP.
