Three People Sustained Injuries in Murrieta Two-Car Crash on 215 Freeway near Clinton Keith Road

 
MURRIETA, CA (September 22, 2022) — Three people suffered injuries in a two-car crash on 215 Freeway on Wednesday, September 21.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Lassig, the crash happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, north of Clinton Keith Road.
 
Reports said that for unknown reasons, a Dodge Ram 1500 truck towing a Yamaha boat on a trailer crashed with a Honda Accord.
 
Officials found the Honda driver with major injuries lying in the freeway’s #2 lane. Medics rushed the victim to Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center, Lassig said.
 
Medics also rushed the Ram’s two occupants to a local hospital with minor injuries.
 
Authorities closed the lanes. Additionally, first responders requested for a complete shutdown of the northbound side of 215 Freeway.
 
As of 1:15 p.m., officials opened all freeway lanes except the northbound #3 lane, Lassig said.
 
The crash is still under investigation.
