Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries after Crash with Tesla on Miramar Road

 
MIRAMAR, CA (March 31, 2023) – A 23-year-old man suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle accident on Miramar Road Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened just before 3:45 p.m. on March 29. According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was riding his Yamaha motorcycle westbound near the 9600 block of Miramar Road when he did not slow down and collided with a Tesla in front of him. The impact caused him to be ejected from the bike.
 
First responders found the motorcyclist suffering from multiple fractures. They rushed him to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old female driver of the Tesla was unharmed.
 
The SDPD’s Traffic Division is still investigating the crash and factors involved.
