Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Pickup Truck on Kings Canyon Road in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (October 22, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident at Kings Canyon Road and Burgan Avenue in Fresno on Friday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on October 20. According to the Fresno Police Department, the pedestrian was crossing from the north side of the street to the south when a Dodge pickup truck struck him.
 
When officers arrived, found the pedestrian lying on the roadway. They performed life-saving measures but the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
Authorities only described the victim as an adult male of approximately 40 years old.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
The cause of this accident and factors involved are still under investigation.
