Man Dies in San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Harbor Drive

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 3, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Harbor Drive near Laurel Street Sunday night.
 
According to the San Diego Harbor Police, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 10:00 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver struck a pedestrian, who authorities say stepped into traffic. Not long after, authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
At this time, officers have no explanation on what caused the crash or where the liabilities fall. However, if any witnesses have more knowledge of this crash, please contact the San Diego Police.
