Man Dies in San Jose Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near King Road

SAN JOSE, CA (August 3, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near King Road and Story Road early Sunday.

According to police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 12:45 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver traveling northbound struck the male pedestrian in the northbound lanes outside of a marked crosswalk.

Unfortunately, the driver fled the scene, leaving the victim with fatal injuries.
