Man Killed in Koreatown Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Crenshaw Boulevard

 
KOREATOWN, CA (September 29, 2021) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Crenshaw Boulevard and 9th Street Monday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a driver struck a man in the Koreatown area. Subsequently, the driver left the scene and failed to provide any type of assistance to the victim.
 
Soon after, paramedics and authorities responded to find the man with severe injuries and rushed him to a hospital. However, despite having received life-saving efforts, the unidentified victim succumbed to his injuries.
 
At this time, the driver remains unaccounted for. However, anyone who knows about the suspect’s whereabouts that could lead to his arrest should contact the city of Los Angeles for a standing reward of up to $50,000.
