STOCKTON, CA (June 5, 2023) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Airport Way and Washington Street in Stockton early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 3:00 a.m. on June 3. According to the Stockton Police Department, the male victim was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
When officers arrived, they found the man lying on the roadway with major injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was not yet identified.
 
The responsible vehicle had fled the scene before officers arrived.
 
There is no suspect information available at this time. The Stockton Police Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
