Pedestrian Hospitalized after Accident on East Bidwell Street in Folsom

 
FOLSOM, CA (November 15, 2023) – A man sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on East Bidwell Street on Monday evening.
 
According to the Folsom Police Department, the incident happened on November 13, at about 9:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit the pedestrian near Oak Avenue Parkway, just outside of the Broadstone Village Center.
 
Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. His condition remains unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Investigators do not suspect impairment as a factor in the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
