FRESNO, CA (February 13, 2023) — A man was injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 180 near Peach Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the motorcycle crash happened around 1:47 p.m. Saturday. For unknown reasons, a 46-year-old man operating a westbound Harley-Davidson crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado truck. Due to the impact, the rider was ejected off the bike and onto the road.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and immediately took the victim to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
Thus far, officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played as factors in the collision, but an ongoing investigation continues.
