Man Who Cannot Remember His Name Hospitalized after Sacramento Bicycle Accident on Fulton Avenue and Marconi Avenue

SACRAMENTO, CA (September 27, 2021) — A man who cannot remember his name was hurt in a bicycle crash on Fulton Avenue.

According to California Highway Patrol, they found him at the corner of Fulton and Marconi in Sacramento’s Arden-Arcade area. Then they brought him to the hospital on August 24.

A CHP spokesperson said a vehicle struck him while he was on a bike. They said that there was no crime committed in the incident and the driver cooperated with them.

Doctors at UC Davis Medical Center said the man was in their care for over two weeks and he cannot identify himself. He can’t also remember whether he has any family or where his residence is.

The man speaks Spanish and is around 50 years old. His height is 5 feet 11 inches tall and he weighs 167 pounds. CHP said fingerprints and other records did not help them find his identity. They asked the public for help.

On Thursday, September 23, UC Davis Health said they have finally learned his identify. However, his name will not be released because he asked for privacy.
