Children Among Injured in Los Angeles Crash on South Central Avenue near 107th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 27, 2021) — Eight people suffered injuries in an accident on South Central Avenue on Friday, September 24.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash happened shortly before 8:00 p.m. on South Central Avenue. The crash site is near the corner of 107th Street in the Green Meadows neighborhood.
 
Medics rushed all eight patients with minor injuries to a medical center. LAFD said that the injured victims were two children, two police officers, and four adults. Authorities did not release the ages or genders of any of the injured.
 
Aerial footage of the area showed at least two vehicles were part of the incident. The footage also showed that the smashed front passenger side of a police SUV.
 
An LAPD’s South Traffic Division watch commander said that officers responded to a call with their lights and sirens on at the time of the incident.
 
Authorities didn’t release further information about the crash.
