Man Injured in San Diego Bicycle Crash on University Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 15, 2021) — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a bicycle accident on University Avenue near 58th Street on Monday evening.
 
According to San Diego police officers, the fatal bicycle crash occurred around 5:05 p.m.
 
According to the investigation, a 21-year-old driver tried to pass up a slower-moving westbound car. In an attempt to switch back into the lane, in front of the slower driver, the driver collided with the 51-year-old cyclist.
 
Due to the accident, the cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. At this time, the victim’s condition has not been released.
