Man Killed After Crashing Car on 15 Freeway in Devore

 
DEVORE, CA (March 30, 2023) — A man died in a solo-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Glen Helen Parkway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car accident happened around 9:43 p.m. Sunday. While driving at a high rate of speed, a man lost control of his Chevrolet Camaro on the southbound 15 Freeway. The vehicle subsequently struck a guard rail on the right shoulder and ejected the driver from the cabin.
 
Rescue crews responded to render aid to the driver but he succumbed to his injuries not long after. Authorities do not have his identity at this time.
 
Information surrounding what led to the accident and if drugs and or alcohol played a factor is unavailable. However, the CHP will investigate this case further.
