Man Killed in T-Bone Crash at Foothill Parkway in Corona

 
CORONA, CA (March 30, 2023) — A man died in a broadside accident at Foothill Parkway and Rimpau Avenue.
 
According to the Corona Police Department, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
 
For unknown reasons, a 26-year-old Corona man driving a Ford F-150 ran a red traffic light. As a result, the Ford broadsided a Tesla, which had a green light.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and pronounced the Tesla driver, a 43-year-old Corona man, deceased at the scene. Paramedics brought his 45-year-old passenger and the Ford driver to a trauma center for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Authorities do not have information on if alcohol and/or drugs played a factor in the collision. However, we will update this report with new information if we receive any.
