Fatal Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Normandie Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 21, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Normandie Avenue at Dunwich Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a man in his 30s was walking on Normandie Avenue at Dunwich Avenue when an oncoming SUV struck him.
 
The driver of the SUV pulled over. However, a second vehicle traveling southbound struck the seriously injured man and left the scene, continuing on 223rd Street.
 
Responding paramedics and authorities found the victim on the road and pronounced him dead soon after. Authorities have withheld his name at this time but do say he might have been a transient.
