SAN DIEGO, CA (March 6, 2022) – A man was badly hurt in a semi-truck accident in the 3845 block of Imperial Avenue on March 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Hilltop Drive just before 2:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 29-year-old man was driving a 2008 Ford F250 van westbound on the road. Due to unknown reasons, the van crashed into a 40-foot semi tractor-trailer.
 
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to the scene. As a result, the man suffered traumatic fractures to his lower extremities in the crash. Paramedics transported the victim to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest with traumatic fractures to his lower extremities.
