Early Morning Crash in Lancaster Kills Man and Woman

 
LANCASTER, CA (April 4, 2023) – Lyndell Crawford and Kaneisha Byers were killed in a car accident in Lancaster early Sunday morning on April 2.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of 10th Street West and West Avenue I. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station, a vehicle carrying two people was traveling at high rate of speed when it crashed.
 
As a result of the crash, the man and woman inside the vehicle both died at the scene.
 
Crawford was 22 years old from Las Vegas. Byers was a 33-year-old Palmdale resident.
 
Authorities believe speed might have been a factor in the crash, but no further information was immediately available. An investigation is underway.
