MURRIETA, CA (June 21, 2022) — Linda Hernandez died in a high-speed multi-car crash on the 15 Freeway near Clinton Keith Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal multi-vehicle accident happened around 12:55 a.m. on Saturday. For unknown reasons, an unidentified driver bearing down about 80 miles per hour in the fast lane failed to stop behind slow traffic ahead.
 
As a result, the driver’s 2022 Honda sedan slammed into a 2002 Toyota SUV, killing 70-year-old Hernandez sitting in the rear passenger seat.
 
Due to the forceful impact, the crash involved several other vehicles, sending multiple people to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar with moderate to major injuries.
