Ashton McKiearnan Dead, Narayana Zerr Detained in Clovis DUI Crash

 
CLOVIS, CA (June 21, 2022)— Ashton McKiearnan died in a DUI accident on Ashlan Avenue at Sunnyside Avenue on Father’s Day.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, 35-year-old Narayana Zerr allowed his eastbound vehicle to swerve into oncoming traffic. Subsequently, his car struck an oncoming vehicle.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and confirmed one person deceased. The coroner’s office has identified the victim as 41-year-old McKiearnan, a father of two occupying the second vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed McKiearnan’s wife and one of two children sitting in the backseat to a hospital.
 
At this time, Zerr remains incarcerated at the Fresno County jail. However, an ongoing investigation into this crash should clarify more details.
