Karo Margarian Detained in Deadly DUI Head-On Crash on Glenoaks Boulevard at Elm Avenue

 
GLENDALE, CA (January 4, 2024) — Karo Margarian was arrested in a fatal DUI head-on accident on Glenoaks Boulevard at Elm Avenue.
 
According to the Glendale police officers, the head-on crash happened around 8:25 p.m. Monday. For DUI reasons, 23-year-old Margarian drove from the westbound to the eastbound lanes, where he crashed into a westbound silver Honda head-on.
 
Tragically, a Honda passenger passed away in the crash. Authorities did not release his name but described him as a man in his 70s. Meanwhile, the Honda driver suffered a broken pelvis and leg and received hospital care.
 
Following the crash, police arrested Margarian for DUI and reckless driving. He also suffered varying injuries.
