Dene Blakely Detained for Striking Woman on Broadway Avenue near 11th Street

 
SAN PABLO, CA (January 4, 2024) — Dene Blakely was arrested for hitting and killing a woman on Broadway Avenue near 11th Street on December 8.
 
According to San Pablo Police, the fatal incident happened in the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue. Before the crash, 39-year-old Blakely claimed that a 60-year-old woman walking along Broadway Avenue was someone who had previously stolen packages from her home. After confronting the woman, Blakely reportedly entered her car and struck her.
 
Shortly after, paramedics took the unidentified person to a trauma center where the woman passed away on December 23.
