Jesse Dubois Detained in Deadly Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on Rumrill Boulevard at 19th Street

 
SAN PABLO, CA (May 10, 2022) — Jesse Dubois was arrested in a fatal hit-and-run bicycle accident on Rumrill Boulevard at 19th Street on Saturday morning.
 
According to reports, the fatal hit-and-run incident happened hours prior around 1:50 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, 30-year-old Dubois crashed his 2011 burgundy Nissan Sentra into a 68-year-old man riding a bicycle.
 
However, Dubois left the scene following the accident, leaving the victim with grave injuries.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and pronounced the bicyclist deceased on arrival.
 
Hours later, police were able to identify the suspect vehicle as a Nissan, which led them to arrest Dubois in the 700 block of Market Avenue.
 
At this time, Dubois remains jailed at the Contra Costa County Jail on charges of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
