Two-Vehicle Accident near Mockingbird Canyon Road in Woodcrest Kills 1 and Critically Injures Another

 
WOODCREST, CA (May 10, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident near Mockingbird Canyon Road in the unincorporated area of Woodcrest on Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 7:20 a.m. on May 9 at Harley John Road. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters freed one person who was trapped from the wreckage.
 
Despite life-saving measures, one patient died at the scene. Paramedics rushed another one to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available. CHP officials are still investigating the factors involved and liability.
