Jamilah De Roux Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Manchester Boulevard near Cimarron Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 20, 2023) — Jamilah De Roux died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Manchester Boulevard near Cimarron Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a driver heading eastbound struck 63-year-old Jamilah Leah De Roux while she was crossing the street. Subsequently, the driver continued east and failed to help the Long Beach woman.
 
Soon after, police officers responded to find De Roux with fatal injuries. The Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner recently identified her.
 
At this time, officers would like the public’s help in looking for the driver in this crash. They are offering a standing reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who can help them arrest the suspect.
