CONCORD, CA (August 18, 2021) — A hit-and-run driver was injured in a crash in Pittsburg near Bay Point over the weekend.
 
According to the Concord Police Department, the accident happened around Sunday night. For unknown reasons, the driver ran a red light and collided with another vehicle, resulting in severe damage.
 
Subsequently, the driver took off and ran into a heavily wooded ravine. That’s when the Pittsburg Police Department requested a Concord Police Department K-9 unit.
