46-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 210 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (July 5, 2024) – Gumercindo Huerta was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Bernardino early Thursday morning on July 4.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:52 a.m. on 210 Freeway at 5th Street. According to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle struck Huerta along the westbound lanes of the freeway.
 
Huerta suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 46-year-old San Bernardino resident.
 
It was unclear at this time if the involved driver stayed after the crash. Further investigation is underway.
