1 Hurt in E-Bike Crash on Ocean View Hills Parkway in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 7, 2025) — One person was injured in an e-bike accident with a car on Ocean View Hills Parkway at Otay Mesa Road.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the e-bike accident happened around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a 64-year-old man in a westbound 2020 Hino truck turned right onto Ocean View Hills Parkway. Subsequently, a 27-year-old man riding an e-bike veered off the sidewalk and entered the path of the Hino truck. From there, the vehicle struck the bicyclist.
