Ciriaco Santiago Gomez Charged in Deadly Hit-and-Run Rollover Accident near Manning Avenue and Hansen Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (February 7, 2025) — Ciriaco Gomez faces charges following Wednesday night’s fatal hit-and-run rollover crash near Manning Avenue and Hampton Avenue.
 
The California Highway Patrol said the single-vehicle crash happened Wednesday night. For an unknown reason, 26-year-old Ciriaco Santiago Gomez lost control. Subsequently, his car left the road and rolled over after hitting nearby orange trees.
 
His passenger, who remains unidentified, died in the crash.
 
After the crash, Gomez left but turned himself in at the Orange Cove Police Department and was charged with felony hit-and-run.
 
Police did not specify other factors leading to the accident. However, if anyone has more information, call the CHP.
