Driver Grant Molino, Passenger Jason Hernandez Die in Pearblossom Car Crash

 
PEARBLOSSOM, CA (December 21, 2021) – Two men were killed in a head-on car accident on Highway 138 in Pearblossom on Saturday, December 11.
 
Police identified the driver as 21-year-old Grant Molino of Rancho Cucamonga and the passenger as Victorville resident 46-year-old Jason Hernandez, according to the coroner’s office.
 
The crash on Highway 138 at 133rd Street East occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. Saturday. According to the California Highway Patrol, a wrong-way 2003 Chevrolet pickup in the eastbound No. 1 lane overturned after crashing head-on into a 2020 Ford sedan.
 
The two men in the pickup – Molino and Hernandez – were not wearing seatbelts and died at the scene.
 
The only occupant of the sedan was not injured.
 
It was not immediately known if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. As a result, Antelope Valley area CHP office urged anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at 661-948-8541.
